Paruppu Vadai I Masala Vadai

Hello friends, Here I am posting the crispy paruppu vadai for evening time snack. Please check the ingredients below,



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup vadai paruppu /  Channa dhal
  • 4-5 garlic
  • 1-inch ginger
  • Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Fennel seeds
  • 2-3 Red chilli
  • 2 Medium-sized chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped mint leaves
  • 1 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt as required
Description :

  • Take 1 cup of Channa dhal and Soak dhaal for 4 - 5 hours
  • Add in Mixie jar after filtering complete water
  • Separate 2 tbsp soaked Dhaal
  • Take 2-3 Red Chilli, 1/2 tbs fennel seeds, few curry leaves, 4-5 garlic, and 1/2 inch Ginger
  • Grind everything coarsely without adding water
  • Add required salt, grind again to a coarse mixture.
  • Add in a bowl along with 2 tbs soaked dhaal,2 medium chopped onion,1/2 cup chopped mint leaves, 1/2 cup chopped Corriander leaves, few Curry leaves chopped and 1/2 tbs fennel seeds.
  • Mix well, Make Medium size balls and keep on a plate.
  • Heat oil in a Kadai and make sure the oil is heated up for frying.
  • Apply water in the palm and make patties.
  • Finally, drop the patties in oil carefully
  • Keep the flame medium-high.
  • Turn the vadai in 1 minute and make sure it is fried well.
  • That's it Crispy paruppu vadai is ready.
