Singapore Deepavali 2019 I Decoration I Shopping

Hi friends, Here I am posting our first celebration content of this channel:). In this blog, we explored the Deepavali festival shopping in Singapore, how do people celebrate here on the island.

In Singapore, there is a famous place called Little India known for Indian shops and meeting place. This is very important place in Singapore where major part of people shop for festivals. Here they celebrate deepavali festival in grand manner by having Light settings through out the road. And will be conducting many events on that occasion.

People at singapore celebrate deepavali by decorating house, shop new dress, jewellery, etc. Usually they will be having either outing or family-friends get-together. On that day, everyone shares their deepavali gifts to their beloved ones.

In Little India there is street named Campbellane which is well renowned for shopping village. Shops on both the sides which contains more number of decorative items for the festival.

Unlike India, here they do not celebrate with noisy crackers. Few crackers like "Kambi Maththaappu" (Sparklers) are available in different varieties in these shops.

These shops are mainly for who wish to decorate their houses with traditional, hand made decorative items. Ladies can have decorative hand bag, artificial jewellery, dress, etc.

People arrange their house with decorative items as well as serial lights. That gives festive mood on party time. Deepavali is the festival of lights, so we light up the house brightly and bringing happiness inside home.

Here you can also find traditional art pieces, show case pieces, interior decorators, in wide varieties. Always buying new things which is close to our heart brings more happiness and starts the festive mood :)

Night view of the deepavali festival light up is the highlight of this special day. There will be light decoartions for about two months in Serangoon road from Little India till Farrer park. In Singapore, people are kind to each other and respecting others religious views and festivals. It shows racial discrimination in the country :)

Kids enjoy this lights much and shopping as well. Lets spread happiness, joy to everybody on this special occasion. Happy Deepavali! :)
