Masala Sundal

Hi friends, Here I am posting a very simple yet healthy Indian snack item, Spicy masala sundal. This contains chickpea which is rich in fiber. Good for dietary people as well as school going kids. Kindly try this recipe and keep supporting us!






Ingredients :


  • 1 Cup Chik pea
  • 1tsp Channa dhal (Kadalai paruppu)
  • 2 Medium-sized Onion chopped
  • 2 Medium-sized Tomato chopped
  • Dry red chilli depends on the spice level
  • Curry leaves few
  • 2Tbsp Grated Coconut 
  • Salt as required
  • Oil 2 tsp

                             

Steps to follow:
  • soak channa for 8 hours, then pressure cook for 5 to 6 whistles by adding salt. 
  • Filter the water completely.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and let it splutters.
  • Add channa dhal, ginger 1tsp each then give a good mix.
  • Add curry leaves and Red Chilli (2 -3) then give a good mix.
  • Add salt as required and mix well.
  • Add cooked Channa and mix well.
  • Then add chilli and coriander powder 1 tsp each and mix well.
  • Add 2 tsp Grated Coconut, mix well and turn off the stove.
  • Enjoy the Masala Sundal.
